A new poll commissioned by industry trade body RenewableUK has shown that the majority of the British public find blocks and delays to renewable energy developments “frustrating” and support greater energy infrastructure development
Three organisations from across the energy and planning sectors have come together to examine how the UK’s renewable energy planning system could be improved to hit renewable energy capacity targets.
Industry body RenewableUK published a report today (17 June) showing that global offshore wind operational capacity has increased by over a fifth in the last year.
The report claims that the reason for the UK’s small percentage of co-location is that policy and regulation are hindering the growth of such projects.
