Over 500 electric vehicle (EV) chargepoints are to be installed in Barnet due to new funding from the On-Street Residential Charge Point Scheme (ORCS).
The government has a “mountain to climb” to reach its goals of phasing out new petrol and diesel cars by 2030 and for all new cars to be zero-emission by 2035.
Funding for the On-Street Residential Chargepoint Scheme (ORCS) will continue into 2021/22, as local authorities are urged to take advantage of a new £20 million funding boost.
