The MCS Charitable Foundation has signalled in a new report that by increasing the promotion of green apprenticeships to Gen Z, the UK could reach its net zero target.
MCS has announced that the UK’s first ever heat pump installer apprenticeship will receive government funding to train 57,000 heat pump installers by the end of the decade.
Concerns have been raised by renewables certification body MCS about the decision by Octopus Energy to accept solar installations on their Smart Export Guarantee tariffs without MCS accreditation.
